However, as I go on reminiscing my experiences over the
years, I realized that the Chinese have an edge compared with Filipinos.
What is the difference between the Filipinos and the
Chinese?
Filipinos have an employee-mindset. Chinese have an
employer-mindset.
Let us consider a Filipino family.
The Filipino Father tells his children, “Son, study very
well so when you grow up you will get a good job.”
The Chinese Family on the other hand has this scenario.
The Chinese Father tells his children, “Son, study very well
so when you grow up you will have your own business.”
This very mindset sets the difference between a Filipino
Family and a Chinese Family.
Although there are also Filipinos who are into business, the
Chinese think differently even when they start.
Chinese talk about business and money at homes. Thus, they
get stronger with financial education.
No wonder why the Chinese gets richer and the Filipinos get
poorer.
